I started my writing career on the sports pages of the Evening Herald in Plymouth, at the age of just 15. I studied Journalism at City University in London, after which I accidentally fell into TV production.

These days, I combine a freelance career executive producing documentaries (for the BBC, YouTube, Channel 4 and Netflix) and writing features for magazines.

Whatever medium I’m working in, I have always enjoyed taking a deep dive into a subject, discovering what’s new and interesting to say about it, and then expressing that with clarity and purpose.

I love interviewing people and consider it a real privilege when they trust me to tell their stories.

Over the years I've produced content on a wide variety of topics including food, nature, heritage, equestrianism, fashion, health and wellbeing, personal finance, current affairs, sex and relationships.

In between writing and TV production deadlines, I love walking my dogs and riding my horses in the landscapes of the Quantock Hills, where I never fail to find inspiration.
